The Trust Registration Service (TRS) is a register of the beneficial ownership for UK and some non-UK trusts. New rules recently came into force extending its scope to include all UK and some non-UK trusts to be registered by the trustees before 1 September 2022, regardless of whether or not they are liable to pay any tax.
